Some of the problems I face are mostly day-to-day issues that many other people face like my diet, work out schedule, when to do homework, and how many hours can I work. These could really be researched and questioned, but I know I have some more topics that I can think of. One could be the fact that I am still young and finding where I stand in the land of politics. I don't pay too much attention to at all since I can't vote, but mainly I just don't see a big reason to. I know that may seem a little lazy or "unpatriotic" as my dad would say, but I feel like I just need to figure stuff out on my own and try not to be influenced by the conservative family I have been raised by, as well as some of the extremely twisted media. Another problem is definitely time management. I try to balance school, work, sports, and my senior graduation requirements, but so far it hasn't worked out too great. Well that's all I can think of..... Bye?
Your first assignment is to post a brief personal introduction. Please include an image that might help us associate your name with your face in class. (Photos are great, but an avatar could work too). Your intro should also introduce some of the issue questions (big questions and/or little questions) that interest you. Go for 150-200 words, well edited. Scroll down to Nancy's photo with her kid for an example.

Meet Eric McMillan
My name is Eric McMillan.I am 17 years old and go to Clatsop through the Running Start program at Ilwaco High school. This is my senior year at Ilwaco, but is also my second year here at Clatsop. I have lived in Long Beach, WA since I was ten years old and lived in Jacksonville, FL before moving here. During the summers I work as a deckhand up in Bristol Bay, AK where my dad owns and operates a gillnet boat. Before and after that, I work as a deckhand for Jim and Jeff Kemmer for their oyster and clam company on Willapa Bay. Aside from working, I spend a lot of time in sports at my high school. I play football, basketball, and in the spring I compete in track and field.
