SHERRY HOLDIMAN

Introducing Sherry I am inquisitive, hardworking, and curious all-the-while exploring the artist within. I enjoy investigative reporting, writing, researching, documentaries, and genealogy. I attend Warrenton Methodist Church, Toastmasters International, CCC Rising Lites Club, and WGS PATH‘S Group. Much of my life I've worked in restaurants, while self-employed I became president of the corporation. Highlights in my career include winning several professional 1st place clam and seafood chowder awards in Oregon. Oh yes, I have also been a cannery queen like many other women in our area. When training to be a skilled fish filleter, I learned many different species of fish. I grew up a fisherman’s daughter often fortunate to have a fresh catch for dinner. I had four children, my youngest Kiley is an eighth grader. As a single mother I’ve faced hard decisions and extreme adversities moving toward my life’s goals. I’m struggling with adapting to this web based society, demanding schedules, and unfinished projects. Deciding when to reinstate my driver’s license remains a problem. Can I budget school funds and save money? How do I juggle my college commitments with Kiley’s schooling and sports activities? Will I regain the opportunity to parent Kiley?
